Mindfulness is suitable for most people although not in this setting if you have had a diagnosis of psychosis, or some types of epilepsy. Whilst being a very beneficial activity, these are not therapy sessions, and this might not be a good time for you to try mindfulness if you have severe mental illness, or have suffered recent significant bereavement or trauma, unless you are under the on-going care of a qualified therapist who recommends it.
Please get in touch if you would like to discuss in confidence any of these issues further.
